Handrigan seafood was founded in the early 60’s by Dave Handrigan.

With help from his brother, T. Brian, Dave got the seafood company off the ground. T. Brian moved on to pursue other interests, Dave continued, and officially incorporated Dave Handrigan’s Seafood in the 1980s.

Handrigan remains in the Port of Galilee in South County, Rhode Island, to this day. A steady supply of whiting, silver hake, scup, fluke, and more are landed on our docks and quickly moved to fresh markets or cold storage.

We sell wholesale to customers up and down the coast. We also partner with Sea Fresh USA and The Town Dock to supply local, sustainable northeast squid species for their foodservice customers.
